In many areas of the country, the demand for private kindergarten has grown over the last few years. In response to this demand, Abby’s now offers private kindergarten as a replacement for traditional kindergarten in select locations.

Our smaller class sizes allow our kindergarten teachers to be more sensitive to individual needs and provide additional guidance in specific learning areas to those children who might need it. By offering flexible learning opportunities customized to your child’s needs, our program redefines the kindergarten experience and reaches well beyond basic programs.

This six-hour day begins at 9a and we also include optional before, and after school care for your convenience.

Environment

We take great pride in creating an environment designed for learning. Materials and supplies are available to children and not used by other groups of children or during other parts of the day.

Parent Communication

The most important communication occurs daily between teachers and parents during drop-off and pick-up times. In addition, you’ll get weekly teacher newsletters and monthly kindergarten newsletters. There are two scheduled parent-teacher conferences throughout the school year. Parents also receive three report cards per year.

Reviewing Children’s Progress

Kindergarten report cards are completed and sent home three times during the school year. Additionally, each day, you will have the chance to review your child’s portfolio containing completed work and journal writings.
